I fall asleep tonight
not sure of the light that goes off
will turn back on
the sky is white
the black is really gray
and here I am in the fray
what a interesting night
allusions of times past
my movements feel thick
as sound vibrates off my pick
everything is too fast
the world darkens further
noises are soft
corrupted by the occasional cough
as my mind becomes blinder
light hits the walls
shaking its way in
going through my skin
I feel a echo,
it calls
I absorb the movement of my surroundings
finding that there is no founding
in what I know now
I’m afraid of what I have allowed
to come in
my soul confounded
in pure black
