how to fix pressure balancing shower valves?
shower shuts off after about a min. just shuts off by itself (the on and off handle does not move
It is in the valves of the shower, If you have a hot and cold turn off, separet from the “one “handel” turn on and off, You need new valves in those. If you only have the one where you can turn it to cold and hot and mix them, then you need to replace the springs and rubber seals in it, or it could also be that you need to replace the plastic cartridge in the handle. This requires you to take it apart and replace these things in it when you get it apart. Pretty simple and will not cost you more than $10 dollars. If you don’t know how to do this you can find it online or go to a home depote and they have licensed plumbers that work there that will show you or tell you how to fix your problem.
