How to install bar on 051 Stihl chainsaw?
I bought an old 051 that runs great, but can’t seem to install the bigger bar and chain on it. There is some kind of round disk that’s covering the way to get the chain around the motor gear. Should I take this off, or is there another way?

Yes it has to come off.But if your asking that question go to a place they sell stihl and have them show you how.it needs to be put on and tighten the correct why.
