My battery backup clicks when my generator is running.?
We use our genreator during power outtages. However, our battery backups click. Is there a problem with this? What does this mean? Is it safe to run?
The battery backup is monitoring the AC input and switching if there appears to be a problem. If the frequency and voltage supplied by the generator are outside the limits of normal the battery backup with activate.
The generator output should be very close to 60Hz and 120VAC. Do you have a way to measure its output?
