Is it hard to care for black honed granite?
How hard is it to keep the look of honed granite counter tops stain free?
Not much cleaning at all is need ed since being a dark stone it s also one on the harder and less porest of the stones. But for sanitary reasons and help w/ any possible staining , I would seal twice w/ a good penetrating sealer. GL

Granite $70.1 Granite ( is a common and widely occurring type of intrusive, felsic, igneous rock. Granite has a medium to coarse texture, occasionally with some individual crystals larger than the groundmass forming a rock known as porphyry. Granites can be pink to dark gray or even black, depending on their chemistry and mineralogy. Outcrops of granite tend to form tors, and rounded massifs.
