What do you recommend that I do about me having sinus problems & sores in my nose that block my breathing?
They’re not your ordinary boogers. I’ve been having this nose problem for about 2 months. Yes, there was a bathroom leak, & it’s currently being repaired. My nose stays stuffy, & I have HUGE sores hanging from the top of the cartilage that block my breathing & they hurt & bleed when I try to get them out so I can breathe better.
I’ve used Vicks, Theraflu, & Alka Seltzer, & nothing works.
Greetings, It could be you have a sinus infection, the virus or bacterial infective particles could be irritating you, or it could be an allergy to mold or something from the leak.
It sounds like you have a dryness problem too. I would start out using a saline nose spray a few times a day. If you have a humidifier use it, if not, take a dish of water and put it in front of your heat registers so they can blow over it. If you can’t do that, crack your window a tiny bit at night to let in some fresh moisturized outside air.
I would take a qtip with some aloe vera and gently coat your nose before bed to try to heal the sores.
If it does not clear up you need to see a doctor because instead of irritation it might be an infection.
