Blower Belt

Can someone explain to me what a blower motor is and what it does?
I know it creates a ton more horse power. And I tried looking it up online. But no luck with any info on what it is. I know it is belt driven and that is about it.
a supercharger and a blower are essentially the same thing. it’s a type of fan that is powered by a belt on the engine that blows more air into the engine. the more air you can get into the engine then the more gas you can put into it = more power out of the engine.
oh and it’s called a blower – the blower motor is actually what blows air out of your a/c-heater vents.
