Is it worth buying new rotors when buying new again?
I will buy x-drilled and slotted Brembo rotors Hawk HPS pads, stainless steel mesh lines the installation of all. Is it worth an extra $ 120 for rear discs also get time to buy in advance. Be that 70% of braking is done by the weight transfer arc. I occasionally use this car to the track when I do I can not afford to run in the Skip Barber series. Also I have a new my car lowered suspension and new high performace tires (Toyo T1R?) and rear stabilizer bar. For your information the car is a CPE Honda Accord 03, 6 SPD.
Upgrade to the rotors is better to prevent "Fading brakes" which means no heat so quickly and lose their grip strength. Have good rear brakes of his vehicle, designed to help to prevent brake fade (like split / drilled rotors) maintain equal braking – And if the front brakes are starting to fade, the rear brakes start taking care of more than 30% (average) fracture – and these have melted could mean serious consequences, while at the track. I would say upgrade 'Em All at the same time, it's worth the money, especially as you take the car on the track.
