Best way to receive high-definition channels for a set-top box for Windows Media Center?
I want to record HDTV on my computer but I can not find a TV tuner high definition with support for all channels (not just the locals). There may be a component or HDMI card STB could catch to connect my Media Center?
Nothing I've seen affordable. Matrox RT X2 There is $ 2,000 or the EDIUS SP for $ 4000. You may be able to get a CableCard equipment and record directly to the Media Center without going through the receiver for the same cost. Edit: I just saw this on Chris Lanier's blog.
