Anyone know of a good salvage bathtubs website?
We are looking to spend about $1500 and would like a decent clawless, slipper bathtub. We’ve just spent hte entire evening looking through sites but have not found anything in the style of a clawfoot bathtub but without the rolltop and without claws. There is one that we have seen, the Americh Contura White Acrylic Tub, that we like but it is too much for us at about $3800.
look at the salvage stores near you that tear down old houses, then get it refinished, or check with tub refinishers to see if they have any to sell. Try craigslist too.
