Is there a Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner refill alternative?

Of course, the Automatic Shower Cleaner brand wants you to to only buy their refill products…but will another (and perhaps a less expensive) “daily” shower cleaner work? Have you ever tried refilling one of the refill containers with another cleaning liquid? And how does it work?

My roomies and I have a spray bottle of bleach and water mixed. Our shower curtain hasn’t had any stains, mildew or anything like that. The tub, and tile portion don’t hold that nasty stuff that you end up having to clean off.

So bleach and water work well.
