How long should I wait to give my puppy a bath after using advantage?

I put advantage flea control on my puppy the other day,and I want to know how long I should wait before I give him a bath? Also,is it just me or does it seem the flea control products like advantage,frontline etc.. are not working as well as they used to?

I usually bath the dog 2 days after advantage. It soaks into the skin rather than just stay on the coat. By this time it’s well soaked in. It wont affect the actual product after this time.
