What is the best pipe set up for a kitchen sink and a disposer?

I’m installing a new sink with 2 drains. My current setup with the disposer has too many sharp turns and I’m having a lot of problems with leaks at the joints if the pipe barely gets touched (due to throwing in a disposal trying to change the pipes as little as possible).

Should the disposer and other sink piping meet at the wall or mid piping?
Does the disposer work better with it’s own P trap?
Can someone send me a link with a picture of a good plumbing set up?
