Dolphin Tub

Mirror tile above the bath which might fall and chip the bath?
I know this sounds odd, but when we moved in here (rental property), there was a mirror tile fixed to the wall over the bath. As some other things fixed to the wall (dolphins!!) over the bath have recently let go (no problem, light cardboard) and fallen into the tub, I’m now concerned that the mirror tile might do the same. It feels well enough fixed, but would you take it off before it falls, and does some damage, or hope for the best, that it stays put. The mirror isn’t doing anything useful as it’s high up and over the side of the bath.
I don’t want to find we are responsible for replacing the tub (which is a horrendous sand colour, and is probably not available now in any case).

You need to address this situation with your landlord now. Simply inform the landlord of the other decor which has fallen off, indicating that you also have concerns about the remaining mirror tile. Send the letter certified mail, with return receipt requested, to insure that it is received and that you have documentation. Hopefully, your landlord will appreciate your attention to detail and will contact you with any recommendation or service recommended.
