I have a thorn in a ceramic bowl!?

So I was doing the dishes a few days ago and accidentally dropped a ceramic bowl and broke into pieces. I think I have a small piece presented at the bottom of my foot! Then I just felt a pinch on the bottom of my foot and had a little white of specifications it. I tried to use pliers to pull it, but it broke! I think she just collapsed in one billion foot pieces like shrapnel. Should I worry? I tell my mother?
