PLUMBING QUESTION : What fitting should I get to attach this to a 15mm pipe? 10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!!?

I have a 15 mm pipe coming out of an already tiled wall. It is a 1/2″ thread on the end of the bath Filler Spout and I am looking for a fitting that will clamp it to the pipe.

The tiler has left me with only a very small hole eg only 2cm deep into a very hard victorian wall and I don’t want to mess up his handy work.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

You need a 15mm copper to 1/2 inch Brass female adaptor.

The copper pipe should enter the female socket end of this fitting and be soldered, the tap (Fawcet) ought to be screwed into the threaded end using some PTFE tape to seal the threads, as for the hole you have been left with you may have to remove the surounding tile to effect a connection and then replace with a new tile take care not to over tighten during the taps screwing.
