made a mistake with wall filler – how to fix?
hey,
I was using wall filler to fill the millions of holes in this concrete wall in my apartment. So instead of just filling the holes i put way too much filler on and now the wall has like 2mm of filler all over it which is very uneven. Painted it white and it looks horrible. So my question is, is there any tool or chemical which can remove the wall filler back down to the concrete?
I tried sandpaper but its too thick. Thanks.
u can try scraping it but yes probably the sandpaper will be ur best bet….probably have to get a palm sander to do it though so u dont wear out ur hands and muscles….best things to do to fill in holes like that is lay ur trowl at an angle and wipe down the hole the actross it so that way it takes that excess off and leave a nice filled hole but thats it…..easier to sand and finish that way too
