Need help fixing the toilet flusher handle?
Today I noticed that the lever to flush the toilet just stayed down and would not flush. I opened the lid and was looking at the plastic “rod” attached to the chain which is controlled by the handle. Well, I accidentally broke the plastic rod. How do I fix. I need to connect the rod back to the inside of the lever.

Make a trip to the local hardware store and tell them you need a toilet handle. VERY easy to install.
Look at the back side of the handle on your toilet, from the tank side. There should be a nut on there. Might have to use a pair of pliers to loosen it but take that nut off, disconnect the chain from your flapper and put the new handle in. Tighten the nut (finger tight is fine), reconnect the chain (you might have to adjust the chain length) and you’re good to go!
