Forte Bath

16 weeks pregnant and suffering severe migraines……..?
I have been a migraine sufferer since I was 6, but before pregnancy was able to take Inderal and Panadeine Forte. The last month I have woken up with a pounding headache daily. I have tried Nurofen, panadol, mersyndol (which my dr said was ok) massages, baths and countless other things. Nothing Helps! Any tips would be appreciated as it is greatly interferring with day to day life.
Thanks for the tips. I will definitely see my Dr again as sometimes I go 3 days without being able to keep anything down. Including water!
I am a migraine sufferer, too … keep trying the natural methods such as lying down in a dark, quiet room, stay hydrated, peppermint oil rubbed on your temples. A bit of caffeine might also help if you cut it out of your diet.
Also ask your doctor about other migraine meds that you could try. Mine gave me something called Fiorcet (not sure if the spelling). Be warned – there is a risk of re-bound headaches if you take it regularly. I call it my security blanket as I have not yet taken it but I feel better knowing that it is there when and if I need it.
