Fuel Cap

How, in the name of everything user friendly, do I open the fuel cap on my Peugeot 306 LXD?
Save me from scratching the paintwork with a crowbar.
Found it, there’s a “hidden” lever next to the door in the footwell. Conveniently the same colour as the carpet
Though I liked Scott’s plan to pack the cap with explosives. It certainly appealed to my frustration. Would’ve made a great youtube moment.
Not familiar with Peugeot, but some have a release lever by the seat.
Also check that the central locking is fully unlocked, Vauxhall’s filler cap won’t open unless all the doors are unlocked, just a thought.
