where can i get a good deal on a coffee bean grinder (offline!)?

i’d really like to purchase a coffee grinder for cheap from somewhere other than wal-mart. any ideas? has anyone seen a grinder in any national chain ads?

Your best deals will surely be online. If you want a good grinder then you will have to pay a bit more. Those “grinders” with the blades are not very good. You see, the blades spin around and pulverize some of the beans while leaving large chunks of beans too. It is very important to have a uniform sized particle. This requires a ”burr” grinder. It creates equal sized grinds and won’t make dust, which creats a bitter tasting drink! I got mine online for $99 but the same one in a store will be about $175.

If you just want a cheap blade grinder then try Target, they have some good deals there and carry some decent quality stuff. Good luck!
