HELP!!replaced my shower fixtures. My handle will not tighten and the trim will not stay on?
Help, replaced my shower facets and handles..now they will not stay tight when I turn them..on they are lose and the chrome trim that goes behind the handle will not stay on the wall. What hold the trim around the shower handles

The Faucet Valve must be mounted between the lines on the template that says finished wall line. If you mounted the shower faucet valve too far back then the screws won’t be long enough to secure the trim to the valve. Check the shower handles to see if there is a small set screw on them and read the directions that came with the faucets.
Sometimes there is a screw behind some removeable buttons on the handles, pop of the buttons (some have letters H and C on them, see if there is a screw hole behind the buttons.There again reading the instructions is a must.
Hint: Sometimes it is hard to get the long trim screws lined up with the holes in the shower valve, keep trying – but if your faucet valve was mounted too far back in the wall, you are going to have to find longer screws or somehow move the shower valve closer in toward the occupant side.
