homelite weedeater wont stay running?
my grandpa gave me a weed eater and it runs perfect for about a minute or so then it dies out. Starts right up and then does the same thing all over. I am running a 24:1 fuel ratio because thats what my tiller uses, then i started to add a little more gas to the tank to thin it out a little but its dont seem to help.
Sounds like you may have a gasket leak. I would tighten all the screws/bolts on the motor and see if that helps.
Other than that, if the unit has a choke on it, make sure it is open after it starts running.

Gas $114.71 A gas is one of four states of matter. Near absolute zero, a substance exists as a solid. As heat is added to this substance it melts into a liquid at its melting point, boils into a gas at its boiling point, and if heated high enough would enter a plasma state in which the electrons are so energized that they leave their parent atoms from within the gas.
