what is the best filter/pump to use with my 15′x36″ (approx. 2500 gallons) intex easy set pool?

There should have been one supplied with the kit.They sell with their own “brand” name cartridge filter and pump.
Failing that, I’d be looking at a Hayward AG pool pump such as a power flo 2 at least a 3/4, preferably a 1 hp. You can go pricier with a power flo matrix, but it’s really not worth the extra money. For a filter go with either a Hayward C250 or C 500 cartridge filter ( I’d go c500 personally, more filter area) or a 18-20 inch sand filter either a Jacuzzi or Hayward. This is specced a little high, but the overall performance and better filtration is worth it.
